1998 – Adessi formed by Mark Carton and Rick McCordall. They offer media relations and promotions to a range of clients including Swallow Hotels, Domnick Hunter, Marriott Group and General Electric.
1999 – 2004 – Year on year growth to form a business with a staff of 11 and extended services covering PR, Events, Design, Artwork and Telemarketing. Clients now include BBC Radio One, Sport England, McQuay International, Butlins and Parkdean Holidays.
2004 – Adessi open first network office in Leeds City Centre. Additional clients in Yorkshire including Armitage Garden Centres and Harlands Labels extend the service network.
2005 – Adessi awarded Investor In People Status and win 10th award at CIPR awards for best practice in public relations. New personnel extend services and new model for outsourced consultancy developed
2007 – Adessi wins extension on NCFE contract for 3 years, and creates onsite teams at NCFE, Northumberland College, Helena Biosciences and offer on site personnel on a range of additional contracts.
2008 – Adessi win Agency team of the Year at CIPR Awards and 2 national design awards at Fresh. Now with over 25 staff, the agency opens an additional permanent office in Teesside. New clients are varied and include major names including DHL, Irwin Mitchell and ongoing work for colleges across the UK
2009 – Adessi retains IIP for the 3rd occasion reaching a silver award under the new standard. Adessi are judges at Fresh awards, sponsor the CIPR awards and lead on the judging of the FE marketing awards. The agency moves to its own newly built premises in Ouseburn, just outside Newcastle City Centre
2010 – Adessi passes another milestone reaching a £2million turnover and with extended capacity and services, takes on the development of new diversified operations, forming specialist business units for digital, event marketing and also online printing capability.
2011 – The agency structure is changed with a greater focus on consultancy and a focus on best practice supply chains for the marketing sector. A team with a combined experience of over 120 years engage in building a new approach to the market for a new decade of marketers.
2011 – Diversified business operations generate national interest with 3rd party investment in Rude Wrappings and Chapter First secured. The business portfolio now has 5 brands under 1 holding company. Clients now include a range of B2B clients including Bergen Energi, GDF Suez, Manchester Drinks, DHL, Thompsons Solicitors, Dawn Advice, Carlisle College, Tees Valley Unlimited, NCFE, Signature to name a few.....
